For the first time in over a decade the World Championships are returning home to Scotland and the City of Inverness Highland Games, the biggest and most spectacular Games staged in the Highlands will provide the perfect setting for a real clash of the titans. As usual there will be a full programme of junior and senior athletics to enjoy, together with a full programme of music and dance in the Traditional Music Tent, Scotland's biggest Inter Clan Gathering of 2007 in the Clan Village. The city of Inverness Pipe Band Competition (a foretaste of the European Pipe Band Championships a week later), Craft stalls, Martial Arts Display, Solo Piping Competitions, one of the largest Highland Dancing Competitions in the Highlands, the March of the Highlanders, Children's Village, Fun Fair, Craft Stalls.
